When Piney River Resort was put on the market, future owners Don Shepherd and Casey See immediately saw its potential to become a premier family-friendly getaway. At the time, the resort had just 45 spaces, but after their purchase, Don and Casey had plans to grow to a full-service resort that would welcome guests from across the country.

As their dream expansion took shape, they quickly realized they needed the right financial support. While they had an existing relationship with a local bank, they found that it lacked expertise in outdoor hospitality. That’s when they turned to CCFBank and Banker Chad Larson, whose deep industry knowledge allowed him to provide tailored financial solutions that fit their evolving business needs. Today, Piney River has grown into one of Tennessee’s premier outdoor hospitality destinations boasting nearly 150 RV spaces, premium sites, glamping accommodations, tiny home rentals, a pool, splash pad, and retail building.
