3 Reasons to Make the Switch to eStatements

January 19, 2023

If you want to improve your banking experience, why not start with a simple task like switching from paper statements to eStatements. Paper statements add time, cost money, and are subject to mail fraud and identity theft. They can also take days to be delivered to your house, leaving you anxious and uncertain about your finances. By switching to eStatements, you save time, money and increase your financial security. We’ll look at the three reasons to make the switch to eStatements.

Convenient

Easily access your account statement at home or on the go. With online banking, you have 24/7 access to your bank statements once you have opted in to receive eStatements. You can even download and save eStatements as a PDF to help you keep records. No matter where you live, you’ll always get your bank statement on time.

Increased Security

When it comes to your finances, knowing your financial information is secure is of the utmost importance. Financial fraud and identity theft are two concerns that come to mind. With eStatements, you receive an extra layer of security due to encryption technology. Your online banking account comes with a secure encryption technology to prevent others from gaining access to your account information. Also, you’re the only one who knows your login credentials to access your online banking account.

Reduce Your Carbon Footprint

Opting to use eStatements helps save trees, reduces chemical usage, and saves on the fuel needed for transportation and delivery of paper statements.
